You may already know that taking the Cigna health assessment saves you $800/year on your health plan premiums. Did you know it also unlocks a program called MotivateMe that lets you earn up to $100 in gift cards every year (November 1-October 31)? Here's how:

Step 1: Take the Cigna health assessment

This unlocks the MotivateMe program so you can earn points. Go to myCigna.com > Wellness & Incentives (under the Wellness dropdown)

Step 2: Earn up to 50 points per category

Preventive care

Do any ONE of these screenings by October 31 each year to earn 50 points (50 points = $50):

• Annual physical

• Annual Ob/Gyn exam

• Dental preventive exam

• Mammogram

• Colon cancer screening

• Cervical cancer screening

• Prostate cancer screening

Coaching

Do any ONE of these by October 31 each year to earn 50 points (50 points = $50):

• Work one-on-one with an MNPS health coach to achieve a personal health goal (minimum of 3 visits)

• Complete one of Omada’s 16-week programs (diabetes prevention, hypertension, diabetes management)

• Participate in/meet completion requirements of any one of the following:

  • 90-Day Men’s Health Challenge

  • Virta, which can help you reverse Type 2 diabetes (new for 2024!)

  • GIThrive, a digestive health program (new for 2024!)

  • Fern, a musculoskeletal pain program (new for 2024!)

• Complete MNPS's 9-week stress reduction (MBSR) course

• Work with a Cigna health coach over the phone to achieve a health goal

Step 3: Redeem your points

Log on to myCigna.com to redeem your points. Watch for your gift card to arrive in the mail.

Step 4: Spend your gift card like cash

Gift cards are good at any vendor that accepts debit cards — just about anywhere.
