Generally, there are two times when you can enroll for benefits: when you first become eligible and during Annual Enrollment.

When first eligible

You must log onto Oracle Cloud to enroll for benefits within your first 30 days of work.*

Coverage will begin on the first day of the month following 30 days of active work, except EAP participation, which is effective on your first day of active work. If you do not enroll within your first 30 days, you will have to wait until the next Annual Enrollment period to elect coverage, unless you experience a qualifying life event. Once you enroll and your coverage is effective, you have until November 30 of each year to take the Cigna Health Assessment and qualify for the lowest premiums.

Annual enrollment

During Annual Enrollment, held in November of each year, you will learn about changes, if any, to your benefits for the upcoming calendar year and have the opportunity to make changes to your benefit elections. Coverage elected during Annual Enrollment is effective on January 1 of the following year. Visit Oracle Cloud to view and/or change your benefits for the upcoming year (November 1-30 only).

Once you enroll, your elections remain in effect throughout the calendar year. You generally cannot change your benefits during the year, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, birth, losing other coverage, etc.

Viewing your enrollment elections

To view your enrollment elections at any time during the year, follow these steps:

Log onto Oracle Cloud. If you need help logging on, view Oracle Cloud login instructions.
From the home screen, select the Benefits tile.
Select Enrollment Summary in the middle of the page and choose "As of date," which is the first day of the year: January 1, 2026.

* In some cases (for example, for certain new hires starting work in the summer) your enrollment deadline and benefits effective date may be different from what's listed here. Be sure to comply with the deadlines advised by Employee Benefit Services.
