90-Day Men's Health Challenge

Enrollment for the fall 90-day Men's Lifestyle Challenge is open! Space is limited to 50 participants. If the cohort (group of participants) reaches capacity, you can still enroll and you'll be placed on a wait list for cohorts forming in early 2022. 

MNPS is excited to launch a new men's health program this fall. It's called the 90-Day Men’s Health Challenge. The Challenge will be led by Nashville urologist, Dr. Kevin Billups, who also serves as Director of Men’s Health and Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College, and Restorative Lifestyle Strategist Tony Holt (view their bios below). Other experts in areas such as food/nutrition, movement and sexual medicine will assist.

Why participate?

Are you waking up tired, sick and sore? Suffering from low energy, joint pain, excess belly fat, erectile dysfunction (ED), weak stream or constipation? These are just a few common symptoms many men face that can be evidence of greater problems like high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol, and/or diabetes. The 90-Day Men’s Health Challenge empowers men to take control of their health. The Challenge focus is on restoring vitality and optimizing health. Using evidence-based approaches, we arm men with tools to reduce or eliminate chronic health conditions.

What is the Challenge like?

The Challenge is a completely virtual program that covers a total of 12 weeks and includes the following:

  • A 7-Day Immersion Kickoff - Immerses participants into the foundational aspects of the lifestyle program and it benefits

  • Weekly online community Empowerment and Accountability Zoom meetings

  • Learning the link between food, lifestyle changes, metabolic health, and chronic medical conditions

  • Understanding the importance of integrating medical supervision with lifestyle changes to provide a solution

  • Access to peer-reviewed and inspired resources

  • “The Big Reveal” – A celebration focused on successes of participants who complete the challenge

Who should participate?

All male MNPS employees and male spouses/partners enrolled in Certificated Employee Health Plan are eligible to register. Registrants who meet program requirements will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. You’re encouraged to read and understand the commitments required of the program before registering.

What are the requirements?

To qualify for participation, you must:

  • Be a male MNPS employee or covered spouse (as described above)

  • Have one or more chronic health conditions (i.e., diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, overweight/obese, heart disease)

  • Suffer from symptoms like low energy/fatigue, joint pain, back pain, excess belly fat, erectile dysfunction (ED), weak stream, low testosterone, acid reflux, constipation, etc.

  • Could benefit from losing at least 10 pounds

  • Sick and tired of being sick and tired and ready for a change

  • Understand that this journey is not a quick fix but a marathon


How do I sign up?

There is a two-part registration process; you must complete both parts: 

  1. Click here to complete an online form indicating your desire to join the program. 

  2. Once you complete step 1, we will notify you by email if your registration has been accepted and explain the steps you need to take next to receive the Zoom link for the first class.


How much does the program cost?

MNPS is offering the program at no cost to those who meet all program requirements and feel they can meet the commitments required of the program. 


What else do I need to know?

  • MNPS covers the cost of this program to make it possible for all who are interested in being healthier to be able to attend. We ask that you only register if you feel you can meet the significant commitments of the class.

  • Your registration information is confidential and will not be made public or shared with anyone outside the staff coordinating the program.

  • Each virtual class will be video recorded for training and educational purposes only. The primary focus of these videos will be on your teachers’ instruction. Because participant privacy is of utmost importance, the video recording will be edited to only include video/audio of your instructor to avoid archiving any of your personal information.

Dr. Kevin Billups, MD

Men's health specialist

Dr. Billups is a board-certified urologist whose practice has focused on men’s health, sexual medicine, and prevention/early detection of chronic medical conditions for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, an MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Brady Urological Institute. He is fellowship trained in Men’s Health and Sexual/Reproductive Medicine. His clinical practice focuses on using erectile dysfunction (ED) and testosterone deficiency (low testosterone) as gender-specific symptoms and markers for early detection and prevention of chronic health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol, and obesity/overweight.


For the last six years Dr. Billups has personally focused on a plant-rich nutrition approach and witnessed first-hand the positive benefits of lifestyle changes both to himself and to the men in his practice. He is a proponent of using education to engage and empower men to take control of their health as the first step toward creating a thriving life. Dr. Billups is currently the Director of Men’s Health and Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN.

Tony Holt

Restorative Lifestyle Strategist

Tony is founder of Project Wealth 500, LLC (PW500). PW500 is a movement guided by the mission to break the cycle of poverty in Mindset, Health and Wealth. For more than a decade Tony has been a lecturer, mentor, consultant and leading strategic work sessions with men and women around the country on how to improve health and well-being through restorative mindset, whole-food plant-based nutrition and body-in-motion techniques.


Tony has spent more than a thousand hours studying peer-reviewed research and literature on whole food plant-based nutrition, mindset and movement and their effects on recovery and performance. His passion was birthed from his personal health challenges. At age 45, Tony found himself overweight with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, ED, borderline diabetes, congestive heart failure and prostate cancer (chronic metabolic health conditions). He reversed his chronic health conditions by implementing the scientifically based restorative lifestyle practices he now shares. Tony is free from all chronic metabolic health challenges and medication, lost more than 60 pounds and runs marathons! He attributes his success to his strong faith, support team, and an unwavering desire to live a healthy restorative lifestyle.
